I hate it when I’m always the one who’s exerting more effort on anything. Like, if you take 10 minutes to reply, I immediate want to answer back. There are times when you’re busy and I’m not. But technically, even if I’m busy, I will make time because I want you to feel you’re…
The most hurting part of loving someone isn’t the fact that he/she can’t love you back, but the absolute reality that he/she doesn’t care. You’re busy finding ways to capture his/her attention but he/she is too fixated in getting the attention of the one he/she truly loves. It’s quite ironic, but it’s the saddest truth.. You being loved back is just too preposterous.
“You want to know what happiness is? It’s waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, shifting under the blankets and feeling the heat of the person next to you. You turn around and see them in their most peaceful, innocent, and vulnerable state. They breathe as though the weight of the world lays on anyone’s shoulder but their own. You smile, kiss their face in the most gentle manner so as not to wake them. You turn back around and an involuntary grin forms on your own face. You feel an arm wrap around your waist, and you know it doesn’t get any better than this.”
